Here’s what you would be expected to do.
- Troubleshoot failures in the lab and in the field for possible RMA (primarily via email and occasionally over the phone)
- Support Customers with product returns
- Work with other departments to solve warranties and replacements
- Program or otherwise prepare a product for deployment by applying configuration information as required by operations or engineering
- Resolve issues and respond to questions received from our customers via e-mail or phone
- Warehouse work backup person
We are looking for somebody with the following skillset.
- You must be legally able to work in Canada full-time.
- Familiarity with Windows driver installation, device manager, COM ports and terminal programs
- Comfortable with configuring routers using a browser (HTML) based tools
- Ability to use terminal programs to communicate with products using AT commands
- Comfortable using custom programs to configure and update product
- General understanding of cellular products and/or willingness to learn
- Able to read manuals, follow instructions and develop procedures for updating product
- The ability to accurately interpret and explain company information and policy clearly both verbally and in writing
- Work with limited supervision but exercise judgement when getting senior team members involved
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers and the general public
- Proactively interface with end-users, resellers, and sales to anticipate and avoid potential problems such as back orders, material shortage, dispute resolutions, shipping problems, and returns.
- Coordinate with warehouse staff to ensure shipping requirements and deadlines are met.
- Investigate claims, authorize returns and follow up on outstanding returns. Coordinate with Finance for the processing of returns. Make immediate decisions to resolve problems related to, and special requests, within established guidelines and policies.
- Coordinate with Sales, Marketing, Finance, and Shipping to solve multiple and complex problems occurring in the fulfillment of customer orders wrt to timing and work to be performed.
- Recommend procedures and guidelines to improve productivity and the service level of the department.

Salary: Up to $50,000.00 per year
