Digi WX Router Migration

Digi is currently in the process of transitioning its cellular routers from the WR Series with the SarOS operating system to the IX Series with the DAL operating system. The company has introduced several DAL-based Industrial Series (IX) products since the launch of the IX14 in 2018, including the IX10, IX15, IX20, IX30, LR54, TX54, and TX64. SarOS, the previous operating system, has been around for over 20 years and has reached its technological limitations. In contrast, the DAL operating system is a proven, enterprise-grade router operating system that is based on Linux and offers improved security and stability. Digi has been using the DAL system on its Enterprise (EX) Series for many years. The transition is part of Digi's ongoing efforts to provide its customers with the best possible products.
