This PoE surge protector is engineered to protect sensitive data-processing devices connected to Power over Ethernet (PoE) networks against transient overvoltages. It features a robust, shielded enclosure with high-quality RJ45 shielded jacks for reliable and secure connections.

The protection circuit combines high-energy gas discharge tubes (GDT) with a fast-response network of silicon avalanche diodes (SAD), providing rapid clamping and protection against large surge events—handling up to 2kA Line-to-Ground nominal discharge current.

For flexible installation, the unit can be mounted using a flange, screw lug, or DIN rail, making it easy to integrate into a variety of network setups.
