About Unictron

Unictron Technologies Corporation (UTC) is a leading provider of antennas. They also produce antenna modules and piezoelectric ceramic elements. In 1988, Unictron started as an electronic components distributor in Taipei, Taiwan. We have established product development team and manufacturing facilities in Hsinchu, Taiwan.

The two primary product groups are antennas and antenna modules. Both are used for wireless communications in daily life and various industrial applications. Unictron products function in many electronic devices by renowned customers worldwide. As an ISO9001:2015 and ISO14001:2015 certified company, Unictron also complies with RoHS directives.

In 2020, Unictron announced that it acquired 100% of San Jose Technology, Inc. (SANAV), a privately-held Taiwanese GPS and GNSS component manufacturer. San Jose Technology specializes in high-performance antennas.

Innovation

Research and development to improve our technologies and engineering capabilities. Incentive programs encourage Unictron employees to develop new ideas and new technologies. This facilitates Unictron's goal of high-quality products at a low cost. The key factors which affect the quality and manufacturability of a new product from the early stage of the product development are to do things right from the beginning.

Continuous Improvement

Unictron establishes annual quality objectives and regular quality meetings. This ensures a continuous improvement program is executed. A responsible person resolves the quality issue whenever it occurs. This person makes sure that problems are resolved before their deadlines, and preventive measures are implemented.

Training programs to help employees realize their quality objectives. It also helps to improve their professional skills and quality-related knowledge. We encourage or request the suppliers to enhance their product quality, establishing a regular vendor survey program to identify quality issues and track their improvement.

At Unictron, the top interest is to strive for high-grade quality. Unictron's quality policy includes three things: innovation, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction. These three principles and plans assure outstanding products and services to our customers.

Unictron fulfills green product requirements and avoids conflict minerals. Each product receives the extra attention it needs to identify and carry out improvements.

Unictron customers have real needs. They understand the pressure of delivering the right products on time. If any complaints happen, Unictron immediately responds to those complaints.

They also submit improvement measures and track improvement progress. A regular customer satisfaction survey is sent out to find any problem areas to improve product and service qualities.

They use core competence in ceramics powder formulation and processing to create the main product lines that sell today.

Unicron's antenna team comprises some of the earliest GPS antenna designers and engineers. The advanced antenna production facilities started to deliver ceramic patch and chip antennas in 2005. Once the industry recognized the antenna team in the RF industry, antenna product lines also expanded.

They include PCB (printed circuit board) antennas, flexible PCB antennas, metal stamping and patch array active antennas, antenna modules, and various custom-made products.

More than 45 antenna patents have been granted or pending since 2009. Our newer patents include miniature multi-band chip antennas with a frequency-tuning design for easy design.

These SMT (Surface Mount Technology) patch antennas can help reduce the customer's manufacturing cost and polarized rectangular patch antennas to help reduce the customer's product size.

These chip antennas are used in portable devices such as cellular phones, tablets, notebook PCs, navigation devices, and earphones/headphones. Unictron products are high-performance, high directivity patch array antennas or high gain PCB antennas.
