The Cel-Fi Compass XR is the next generation of Cel-Fi scanning receivers used to take signal readings at site surveys, commission systems after installation, aim outdoor antennas, and verify system performance for Cellular and Public Safety systems. This new version is smaller and lighter than the original Compass. The XR adds support for 5G NR networks and expands the frequency support from 617 Mhz up to 5,000 MHz.

Hardware:

The Compass XR features a single-board Linux Computer and is powered by two rechargeable 3500 mAh, 3.7v protected 18650 cells (included). The AC power adapters include multiple plug types (A, C, G & I) for global support. The Cel-Fi Compass XR has a reading accuracy of plus or minus 2 dB. The Compass XR itself weighs 1.61 lbs and measures 4.7" x 1.6" x 8".

The charging port on the Compass XR uses a USB-C connection making it compatible with existing cables and charging solutions.. For connectivity, the Compass XR features Bluetooth LE version 4.2, which allows your phone to run the Cel-Fi WAVE Pro app to connect to the Compass XR. It also features a built-in WiFi Access Point that is used for software upgrades.

There are three RF ports on the Compass XR:

Each port has an SMA-Male connector.
