Lightning Surge Protector

Lightning Surge Protectors guard amplifiers and boosted devices from power surges caused by lightning strikes to antennas mounted outside. This device is inserted between the amplifier and the outside antenna. For it to be effective, it must be properly grounded.

We offer lightning surge protectors in 50- and 75-ohm variants. The 50-ohm version is terminated with N-Female on either end, and the 75-ohm version has F-Female termination on either end. We also offer an optional 2 ft jumper with each variant. Should you choose not to purchase this, you will need to supply your own cable to place in-line with the amplifier and donor antenna.
