Cellular Modules
Cellular modules allow for machine to machine (M2M) connectivity across a cellular network. Different types of cellular modules include 2G, 3G, 4G, and 5G with speed as the differentiator. 2G modules are around 20 kilobits per second. The latest 5G modules are capable of 20 gigabits per second. A single module can communicate on more than one generation. For instance, a 5G module can have 2G fallback.
